Envio Day


On Thursday Kauri and Kirsty came to our school to see if we were a Silver envoiro The whole school did a welcome to welcome them under the wahi nui. To welcome kirsty and kauir we did some of our kapa haka songs we did Ka waiata Hallelujah and the boys did the haka it was in amazing enviro day for st mary's school our wahi nui was Immaculate no Rubbish around it was so quiet like a gem. Room l said a Qatar care i thought it was so Beautiful. Kirsty and kauri came to our classroom to talk about our waka and our 5 Guiding Principles they were Sustainable communities Maori perspectives Learning for sustainability Empowered students respect for diversity of people and culture. They were looking at our Bird feeders that we made and hang on the trees. We made some Animals out of Plastic Bottles that some of the people Bought in to Reuse it was an amazing envio day it was sunny, we had a great time making new things. We did it all day.
