RE faith poster

Hello Bloggers,

In week 1 we created a Faith poster. We learned this because it was for our school value. What I had to do was get my RE book and some coloring pencils.

I had to write some quotes of what Faith looks like, sounds like and feels like.

I had to draw what Faith is.The first thing that I had to do was get all the things that I needed then start writing. I enjoyed making my faith poster. And I found it challenging to draw some of the pictures. I want you to comment on what you liked about my faith poster.

Bee Factual

 This week I was learning to make a bee factual about a science experiment that we did.We were learning this because it was for our science experiment.we did this science experiment in the  past week.What I had to do for this task was write what we did in the science experiment and create my hexagon

My slides about Japan

Kia ora Bloggers, Last week I created a Slide about Japan for my reading task.We learned this because of the Olympics that were happening in tokyo japan. I want you to comment on anything that I might need to change .I was learning to find facts and information.

 

What I had to do was create a slide about Japan and grab some information from the story I was reading. I found it challenging to find the information from the story and put it in my own words.

 I found facts and information that I put in my slides about Japan. Did you know that Japan has cherry blossoms in springtime. I enjoyed creating and getting facts from the story that I read. I want you to comment on anything you want me to change.

A sweet business activity.

Kia ora Bloggers, Earlier this week we learned about bees. We learned about bees by doing a science experiment.For the science experiment we had to grab a balloon pollen and a tuning fork and a cup. What we had to do was grab all the tools that we needed. Then get in groups. 

 In my group there was Cillian,Molly and me. What my group had to do was put the purple balloon over the cup then spread the pollen on the balloon and then press the tuning fork on a hard table or desk and see if the pollen falls off the ballon on to the black card I found it challenging to to make the pollen come off the ballon.i enjoyed making the science experiment.

My reading task about the Olympics

Kia ora bloggers,On the first week back at school I created a slide about the Olympics. 

 First I had to read a book about being born to run and it was about this man in the olympics. 

 

I really enjoyed Creating my slides about the Olympics. 

 I found it challenging to get the facts and the information from the story. I will show you a slide about the Olympics and what I was learning. 

 I think my learning was amazing.

Today for science we are watching a water rocket and how high will it fly.

What I think that the rocket will fly high into the sky and then fly around then drop down. here is the link to watch the video of our science experiment click on this link right here to watch the video 

I think the rocket will go 3/4 meters because it depends on how many pumps we do to make it blast off See you bloggers.

3 2 1 ...Take off 

Have you ever used a water rocket? To use  an Aquapod what you have to do was attach the water bottle to the vale and full the bottle with water about one third then very carefully put the water bottle on top of the rocket without spilling the water. You are probably thinking whats a aquapod and how you use a water rocket well I am going to tell you how you use a launchpad.We also had to flip the launch pad upside down to put the water bottle on it.  

Firstly you have to use a aquapod you have to attach the bright  orange aquapod to the string and then pin it to the ground but first before you pin it to the ground then with your foot you have to pump so that the water bottle is ready to take off before it takes off what you have to do is watch the bubbles in the water bottle and then Our teacher told us to stand right against one of the classrooms so that it does not hit anyone.

Secondly it was time for it to fly in the air so my teacher pulled the string and it didn't go in the air so we had to try it again so we had to go back in a circle and start again so that meant we had to pump it again and this time it worked it went high but not high enough so we had another go.  

thirdly It went high then the other time I was so excited to see it go in the air it went in the air for 2 seconds and then it hit with a big thud to the ground.

Lastly  we went in side and we wrote a blog post about the experiment and it was so mesmerizing.

My mini golf course perimeter

Kia ora Bloggers Last week i was learning to create a mini golf course and find the area and perimeter. What I had to do was make a copy of the mini golf course and then start creating my mini golf course. After creating it I had to add the numbers on the side of my mini golf course. 

 I found it challenging to count and find the correct numbers to add at the side. 

 I really enjoyed creating my mini golf course and making my numbers to be correct.
